Description
GenuTrain P3 patella knee brace relieves pain and inflammation caused by patellar tracking and pain radiating from muscles, tendons and joints around the knee. With its two integral massage pads and an adjustable corrective strap, the active support holds the kneecap securely in a natural, central position, activates the musculature and thus speeds up the healing process.
Benefits:
- Improved Kneecap Control
GenuTrain P3 patella stabilizing brace helps protect, secure and stabilize the kneecap during every movement. Together with an adjustable corrective strap, the integrated drop-shaped pad holds the kneecap in its natural, central position and helps prevent drifting, while a second, wedge-shaped pad encourages the relaxation of tight muscles in the outer thigh. The cover of the patella further counteracts the tilting of the kneecap.
- Effective Pain Relief
GenuTrain P3 brace exerts medical-grade compression, which provides a soothing massage effect while reducing swelling and pain. If you have a tight IT band, the GenuTrain P3 helps relax the muscles on the outside of the thigh to relieve pain. The breathable, anatomically contoured knit fits perfectly and stays in place during movement.
Ideal For:
- Patellofemoral pain syndrome (chondropathy, chondromalacia)
- Patellar tip syndrome (patellar tendonitis)
- Lateralization of the patella (dislocation tendency)
- High-riding patella (patella alta)
- Feeling of instability
- Anterior knee pain
- After lateral release surgery
- Irritation
- Dislocation
- Jumper’s knee
Size Measurements
Size Measurements
To ensure you get the perfect fit, it’s essential to measure your knee correctly. Follow these simple steps to find your size:
Step 1: Prepare for Measurement
- Stand or sit with your leg extended straight, making sure your muscles are relaxed.
- Ensure you have a flexible measuring tape.
Step 2: Measure the Thigh Circumference
- Find the center of your kneecap (patella).
- From the center of your kneecap, measure 14 cm (approximately 5.5 inches) up your thigh.
- Wrap the measuring tape around your thigh at this point and note the circumference in centimeters or inches.
Step 3: Measure the Calf Circumference
- Again, start from the center of your kneecap.
- Measure 12 cm (approximately 4.75 inches) down your calf.
- Wrap the measuring tape around your calf at this point and note the circumference.
Step 4: Find Your Size
- Compare your measurements with the size chart provided below
