  • Degree of stability can be individually adjusted using two-part strap system
  • Freely movable fingers and seamless thumb area ensure excellent wearing comfort

Ideal For:

  • Dislocations – wrist injuries, eg. sprains
  • Chronic, post-traumatic or post-operative irritation
  • Osteoarthritis (joint wear)
  • Arthralgia (degenerative, rheumatic, reactive)

Care Instructions

To keep your ManuTrain Wrist Brace by Bauerfeind in optimal condition and ensure its longevity, it’s important to follow proper care instructions. Here’s how to clean and maintain the brace:

1. Hand Washing (Recommended)

  • Water Temperature: Wash the brace by hand in lukewarm water (around 30°C or 86°F).
  • Mild Detergent: Use a mild detergent or soap that is suitable for delicate fabrics. Avoid using harsh chemicals or fabric softeners, as they can damage the material and reduce the effectiveness of the brace.

2. Machine Washing

  • If you choose to machine wash the brace, place it inside a mesh laundry bag to protect it from wear and tear.
  • Use the Gentle Cycle: Wash on a delicate or gentle cycle with cold or lukewarm water (maximum 30°C or 86°F).
  • Fasten Velcro Straps: Ensure all Velcro straps are closed to prevent them from snagging on the fabric or other items in the wash.

3. Drying

  • Air Dry Only: Do not place the brace in a dryer. After washing, lay it flat on a towel and allow it to air dry at room temperature. Avoid direct sunlight or heat sources, such as radiators, as high temperatures can damage the fabric and elasticity.
  • Do Not Wringe or Squeeze: Press the brace gently to remove excess water without wringing it, which can distort its shape.

4. Storage

  • Store the wrist brace in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture, when not in use.

5. Regular Maintenance

  • Check the brace regularly for signs of wear and tear, especially in the Velcro straps and compression areas. Replace the brace if it shows significant signs of wear or if its effectiveness has diminished.

By following these care instructions, you can help maintain the integrity of the ManuTrain Wrist Brace, ensuring it continues to provide effective support and comfort for an extended period.
